Santa Fe Ambiance - Whole Foods Market

As a Santa Fe native (who is living elsewhere in New Mexico), I travel back and forth across the state frequently. When Whole Foods tucked it's building into a retail spot on Cerrillo's Rd., at first I thought, uh-oh, another big health food chain vying for space in Santa Fe. However, I found it to be one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences. The store is very, very clean, well kept and the employees were helpful and friendly. The bakery is just outstanding. This bakery has some of the best assortment of scones, muffins and coffee at reasonable prices. The product sections are displayed intelligently, that is, some thought went into "what goes where" and how easy and practical it is to find what you are looking for. Again, the help is intelligent and helpful, without being obtrusive. I'm giving this store a high rating. Overall, I thought it was very nice, a fun shopping experience, and an asset to Santa Fe and Cerrillos Rd.
